A book presentation “Unbroken Generation. Voices of Young Belarusians 2020” (“Nezlomená generace. Hlasy mladých Bělorusů a Bělorusek 2020”) will take place in Prague. The book brings together 25 essays by Belarusian students who have experienced repression.
During the mass protests in Belarus in 2020, students were on the front line of resistance and subsequently faced detention, torture, and forced migration. The collection presents authentic testimonies of Belarusian youth: describing the protests, the resulting trauma, and reflections on the country’s democratic future.

The book was published in 2024 by the UK publisher Skaryna Press, and its edition was funded by the Warwick Ukraine-Belarus Hub (WUB-hub) from the Research England Policy Support Fund at the University of Warwick.
