Every year, Belarusians around the world come together to mark important dates — in different cities, but as one community. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office has created a dedicated website that brings all these events together in one place. Anyone can find an event nearby and join in, while organizers can show that they are not alone.

How does the map work?
When you visit the website, you will see a list and a map of events taking place on dates that are important to Belarusians. To find events in your city:
- Choose a date. Use the date selector above the list. The map will immediately display events scheduled for that date.
- Find your city. Click on an event in the list or select a marker on the map. You will see the time, location, description, and a link with more details.
- View all events in one location. If several events are taking place at the same location, the marker will display a number. Click on it to see each event as a separate marker.
The map works in any browser, on both computers and smartphones. There is nothing to download or install.
What events can you find on the map?
The map features five dates:
- March 25: Freedom Day;
- April 26: Chornobyl Way;
- May 21: Day of Solidarity with Political Prisoners;
- August 9: Day of Solidarity marking the anniversary of the 2020 events;
- October 29: Night of the Executed Poets.
Why do we need this map?
Solidarity events across the diaspora are organized by different initiatives and communities, and information about them is usually scattered across chats and social media channels. Finding out what is happening in your city often means searching through multiple sources.
The map brings all these events together in one place. It makes things easier both for those who want to take part and for those organizing events.
It also shows the scale of solidarity: how many cities and countries see Belarusians come together to mark these important dates.
How can you add an event?
If you are organizing an event, you can add it to the map. Click “Add an event” (“Дадаць імпрэзу”) on the website and fill out the form with the city, date, time, address, event title, a short description, and a link to the announcement.
There is a separate form for each of the five dates. Once submitted, your event will appear on the map.
