On July 11-12, the NATO Summit will be held in Vilnius, involving leaders from 31 countries, as well as foreign and defense ministers of NATO member states. It will become the most prominent meeting at this level in the history of Lithuania. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya was invited to participate in the NATO Public Forum, where she will speak at a roundtable discussion and at events organized by the Atlantic Council.
At Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s initiative, two side events on Belarus will take place during the Summit, focusing on the role of Belarus in transatlantic security and the stationing of nuclear weapons in Belarus. The events will be attended by ministers, government representatives, and members of diplomatic missions of NATO member states, as well as experts.
