A ceremonial event marking the 108th anniversary of the proclamation of independence of the Belarusian Democratic Republic will take place in Vilnius. As part of the commemoration, the white-red-white flag will be raised near the building of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
Participants will gather at 8:45, with the ceremony starting at 09:00. It will take place at the flagpole near the Seimas (riverside).
Speakers will include:
- Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, National Leader of Belarus;
- Juozas Olekas, Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania;
- Michał Kamiński, Deputy Marshal of the Senate of Poland.
The event is open to the public.
