A great solidarity marathon took place just a week ago, which once again gave us, Belarusians, faith in our unity. It helped us see how many of us there are and inspired us to new achievements. It made us honor each other even more and trust that we can make a greater impact when we join forces.
Let us continue this wave of solidarity! We invite Belarusians and friends of Belarus abroad to join the International Day of Solidarity with Belarus on August 9. While Belarusians in Belarus and abroad will be holding rallies, waving flags, and supporting political prisoners, as a foreigner, you can:
– organize public, virtual, or offline events on Belarus, discussing possible solutions to the crisis and what the international community can do;
– make statements or resolutions about Belarus and help to raise awareness;
– launch media, offline and online campaigns informing about the situation in Belarus;
– support Belarusian volunteer fighters in Ukraine;
– help political prisoners and their families.
