In recent weeks, numerous reports have documented the launch of meteorological balloons by the Lukashenka regime, which have entered Lithuanian airspace. These incidents pose risks to civil aviation: Lithuania has had to close airports in response to aerial threats, resulting in thousands of passengers – including Belarusians – being unable to return home and remaining stranded for hours due to flight cancellations and delays.
But Lukashenka’s aggressive policy does not reflect the people’s position. The Belarusian nation has always treated other countries with respect and wants to maintain good-neighborly relations.
Join us! It is important to show that the Belarusian community opposes the regime’s provocations. We want Belarus to be seen as a neighbor that poses no threats or provocations.
