    EUROPEAN POLITICAL COMMUNITY SUMMIT
    Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya participated in the European Political Community Summit, attended by over 50 leaders from European countries. 

    She held brief meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, Moldovan President Maia Sandu, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and several other leaders. During these meetings, she called for maintaining visas and open borders for Belarusians, supporting the repressed, and holding the regime accountable. 

    Ms. Tsikhanouskaya also spoke at a press conference.

    WARSAW SECURITY FORUM
    Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya participated in the Warsaw Security Forum. She spoke in two discussions on the role of Belarus in regional security and met with Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski, thanking him for supporting Belarusian NGOs and initiatives. Other meetings included President Trump’s Special Envoy Keith Kellogg, EU Human Rights Representative Kajsa Ollongren, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, and Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili. Siarhei Tsikhanouski accompanied Ms. Tsikhanouskaya during several meetings.

    PAS VICTORY IN MOLDOVA
    The Party of Action and Solidarity of Moldovan President Maia Sandu won a decisive victory in the parliamentary election held last weekend. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya congratulated the Moldovan leader and PAS: “This is not only a success for PAS and President Maia Sandu. Above all, it is a victory for the Moldovan people, who have chosen the path of democracy, independence, and a European future”.

    MEETING WITH ESTONIA’S NEW SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE
    Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with Estonia’s new Special Representative for the Democratic Forces of Belarus, Karmen Laus. They discussed the situation of political prisoners, support for Belarusians in Estonia, regional security, and further cooperation between Estonia and the democratic forces of Belarus.

    INTERNATIONAL DAY OF OLDER PERSONS
    On October 1, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya addressed Belarusians on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons: “Elderly people are our parents and grandparents, those who worked their entire lives to give us a future. They deserve peace and support. Because society becomes stronger when no one is left without attention and support”.

    TEACHERS’ DAY
    Teachers’ Day was celebrated in Belarus on Sunday. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya addressed Belarusian teachers: “I know many of you face constant pressure. But your resilience shows children that real education goes beyond textbooks and school walls”.

    Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Advisor on Education and Science, Pavel Tereshkovich, also addressed teachers, highlighting their contribution to society.

    MONTHLY RECAP
    Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office released the monthly recap for September, summarizing key events, new research, and notable achievements of Belarusian democratic community activists and NGOs.
