Daniil Garkavy, head of the external relations department, has decided to conclude his work with the Office. The department will continue its work in key areas, including engagement with civil society organizations and the diaspora, organizing and analyzing feedback, as well as the volunteer program.
We thank Daniil Garkavy for his professionalism, dedication, and contribution to our common cause!
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya:
“Daniil joined us back in November 2020, and all these years we have worked side by side in Lithuania. I am grateful to him for his calmness, high effectiveness in developing and implementing projects, and of course, for his faith in Belarus. I know that the decision to leave the Office was not an easy one. I respect, accept, and support it. And I believe that the day will come when we will work together again — in a free Belarus.
For me, this is also a reminder that the Office, as a structure, must be prepared for change, including in personnel. Our task is to build resilient systems that will operate under any conditions and serve the people”.
Daniil Garkavy:
“The years in the Office have been the most fruitful time in my life, but I know that these are far from my last efforts for the good of Belarus. I am grateful for the trust, for the people I had the honor to work with, and for the opportunity to be part of something important.
Leaving is not a farewell. I continue to believe in our shared cause and know that we will meet again and work together — with Sviatlana, and with other colleagues, many of whom, unfortunately, I cannot name publicly”.
