Throughout April, the Office of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya continued its work on supporting political prisoners and addressing issues that directly affect Belarusians abroad. This month featured high-level meetings, public engagements, and outreach to Belarusian communities and initiatives.

- Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya visited Berlin to participate in a discussion on the threats posed by authoritarian regimes.
- The Belarusian leader visited Spain, where she met with Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Senate President Pedro Rollán Ojeda, and Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares, and delivered a lecture at IE University.
- Ms. Tsikhanouskaya participated in a hearing at the Parliament of Canada on the global human rights situation.
- She met with Belarusians and Belarusian initiatives in Poland: participated in the 30th anniversary ceremony of the Viasna Human Rights Centre in Warsaw; held meetings with the Tutaka Foundation and Belarusian NGOs and initiatives in Białystok; and attended an exhibition by Lavon Volski and a concert by Irdorath.
- Events marking the anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster took place worldwide. Belarusians gathered in Warsaw, Vilnius, Zurich, Białystok, Lviv, and New York City to commemorate the tragedy.
- Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya participated in the Three Seas Summit in Dubrovnik, where she held high-level meetings with Presidents Karol Nawrocki of Poland, Gitanas Nausėda of Lithuania, and Nicușor Dan of Romania, as well as Estonian Parliament Speaker Lauri Hussar.
- Diplomatic Advisor Dzianis Kuchynski, on behalf of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, carried out a series of visits and meetings in the United States, Italy, and Lithuania. Key priorities included pathways for the release of political prisoners; practical issues of legal stay for Belarusians abroad; risks facing students of the European Humanities University and their families and alumni; and preserving the EHU’s mission as a university in exile for Belarusians.
