The Belarusian leader delivered a welcoming speech at the Belarusian Business Forum in Vilnius, organized by the Association of Belarusian Business Abroad (ABBA) and the Lithuanian Employers’ Confederation.
The forum, which is held in Vilnius for the third time and features international experts and representatives of business associations of Lithuania, will focus on:
⚪️ The role of Belarus in the regional trade and business community.
🔴 Migration of Belarusian entrepreneurs to Lithuania, its current state, and prospects.
⚪️ Financial opportunities and practical advice for business development in Lithuania.
During her speech, the Belarusian leader emphasized the importance of private businesses for innovation and democracy in Belarus:
📌 “Private business is the very soul of a flourishing economy. Without private business, there’s no initiative, no creativity, no desire for new achievements and innovations”.
📌 “New Belarus will need a viable economy. It’s you who are laying its foundations today”.
📌 “It is very important to preserve the good name of Belarusian business worldwide. It should be associated with transparency, honesty, and creativity. These are precisely the values that we should bring to Belarus after the political transformation”.
📌 “Even in emigration, Belarusians remain creative, proactive, and hardworking. I am not afraid that Belarusian business people will be lost in the world. I’m sure they will flourish, create jobs in the hosting countries, and support our democratic movement and civil society”.
