On March 15, a conference will be held to discuss the Constitution of New Belarus and six draft laws prepared to complement and develop it.
The Conference will be attended by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, as well as the Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas, Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, Head of the European Parliament Delegation for Belarus, Juozas Olekas, President of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, Andrius Kubilius, chair of the group “For a Democratic Belarus”, Žygimantas Pavilionis, and Belarusian and international experts.
“When Belarus becomes a country governed by the rule of law, the Constitution will be a law of direct action, which guarantees that we will no longer return to dictatorship. To those who doubt it, I will say the following: value time – it is a resource that is very relevant. We have already lost an inordinate amount of time. We don’t have it. Do today what you won’t have time for tomorrow”, commented Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Advisor on Parliamentary Cooperation and Constitutional Reform, Anatoli Liabedzka.
