During the World Economic Forum in Davos, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya took part in a discussion on Ukraine’s recovery after the war. It also addressed the economic and political issues of Belarus. Specifically, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya spoke on how to combat dictatorship and weaken the Lukashenka regime.
“The fight against tyranny is not a local one. It’s not about Ukraine only or Belarus only. It’s our global fight. It’s the responsibility of every country to fight these dictatorships. We see how dictators start to cooperate with each other, make coalitions to fight against the democratic world. And what is the answer of the democratic world? “We are getting tired”.
How to weaken the Lukashenka regime? Impose more sanctions, isolate it politically, and bring the dictator and his cronies to accountability. And help Belarusians who are fighting against the regime. We are not asking the world to fight instead of us. Help us win this war. Assist us”, emphasized the Belarusian leader during the discussion.
