On November 25, the Belarusian leader will hold talks with the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, and speak at the Greens Congress in Karlsruhe. Ms. Tsikhanouskaya will meet with members of the Bundestag and the leader of the group “For a Democratic Belarus”. Among other issues, they will discuss the implementation of the Bundestag resolution on Belarus, visas for Belarusians, rehabilitation of political prisoners, as well as accountability for the regime.
On November 27-28, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya will meet with the new government of Latvia. During the visit, she will meet with President Edgars Rinkēvičs, Prime Minister Evika Siliņa, Mayor of Riga Vilnis Ķirsis, as well as with the group “For a Democratic Belarus”. The parties are expected to discuss the situation at the border, legalization of stay for Belarusians in Latvia, as well as recognition of the new Belarusian passport.
