The 3rd Belarusian Business Forum in Vilnius was attended by representatives of Belarusian businesses, members of the Lithuanian Seimas, ministry officials, lawyers, and experts – totaling over 100 participants.
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Advisor on Economic Reforms and Vice President of the Association of Belarusian Businesses, Aleś Alachnovič, explains the benefits the event will bring to its participants:
“Lithuania is the second EU country in terms of the number and significance of businesses founded by Belarusians. This is why such forums contribute to:
📌 consolidating Belarusian businesspeople;
📌 establishing dialogue with Lithuanian authorities;
📌 advocating for the interests of honest Belarusian businesses in Lithuania;
📌 developing businesses by establishing contacts with potential partners and investors.
I am pleased to see the forum’s significant progress compared to the past ones in Vilnius. The event allowed ABBA to sign a cooperation agreement with the Lithuanian Employers’ Confederation”.
Additionally, during the forum, participants discussed the issues facing Belarusian businesses related to migration policy, funding, and Belarus’ role in regional trade.
“This forum continued our dialogue with Lithuanian authorities and organizations. ABBA emphasized its readiness to cooperate with Lithuanian authorities on the issues of business accreditation”, concluded Mr. Alachnovič.
