  • Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s visit to Australia and New Zealand

    November 03, 2025

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, President-elect of Belarus and Head of the United Transitional Cabinet, will visit New Zealand and Australia from 3 to 8 November 2025 at the invitation of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Australia and New Zealand.

The visit underscores the Belarusian democratic movement’s growing international engagement and highlights the shared values between free Belarus, Australia, and New Zealand – democracy, human rights, and solidarity with Ukraine.

This will be Tsikhanouskaya’s first visit to the Pacific region, aimed at deepening political ties, strengthening international support for Belarus’s democratic movement and peace in Europe, and exploring opportunities for future cooperation once Belarus is free from Lukashenka’s regime. She will also thank the Australian Government, Parliament, and people for their support of Ukraine and solidarity with Belarusians since the 2020 freedom revolution.
