  • One Contact Platform launched anonymous and free legal consultations for Belarusians

    April 03, 2024

Political repression and lawlessness continue in Belarus. Access to qualified legal assistance is limited, and seeking support entails risks to safety—especially in cases of politically motivated persecution.

To address this situation, the United Transitional Cabinet’s platform “One Contact” has launched a hotline with duty lawyers. Several times a month, Belarusians will have the opportunity to receive anonymous and free legal advice from highly professional lawyers.

The first session will take place on April 5, from 15:00 to 17:00 Minsk time.

    How to get a consultation?

On April 5, from 15:00 to 17:00, simply make a call using the link to anonymously ask questions and receive qualified legal advice.

What kind of inquiries can be made?

⚪️ Civil law matters (real estate, consumer rights, inheritance, and wills)

🔴 Family law (divorce, alimony, property division, guardianship, etc.)

⚪️ Administrative law (fines, disputes, deprivation of rights, business registration, rights to social services and assistance)

🔴 Criminal law (consultations and defense in cases of traffic accidents, theft, and other crimes, assistance in detention and arrest, procedures for mitigating punishment, amnesty, etc.)

    Is it safe?

Yes. The operators on the line do not record or store data about calls. All calls go through a secure platform using modern encryption protocols. This eliminates the possibility of eavesdropping or data interception by third parties.

Details on duty shifts and legal support will be available in the official “One Contact” accounts on Telegram and Instagram.
