On June 3-4, “Culture in Exile” events took place, aimed to promote support for and solidarity with Belarusian artists. The events were attended by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, Alina Koushyk, the United Transition Cabinet Representative for National Revival, as well as Uladzimir Arlou, Uladzimir Niaklyaeu, Andrei Khadanovich, Tatsiana Niadbai, Hanna Yankuta, Maria Bonet, Viktar Siamashka, and others.
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya delivered an address in which she stressed: “As long as we want to remain Belarusians, it is essential that the vibrant and diverse cultural life of our diaspora does not subside. The free creativity of Belarusian musicians, artists, actors, and writers should remain the best proof that Belarus survives and will live long, even in exile. “
Ms. Tsikhanouskaya also met with Belarusian writers and publishers, listened to traditional songs, and visited the National Museum.
