During her working visit to Poland, the Belarusian leader met with the leadership and members of the Association of Belarusian Business Abroad (ABBA). The meeting involved Belarusian business owners from various cities in Poland and Latvia, representing different economic sectors – from small-scale manufacturing to IT and other business services.
The discussion focused on:
📌 Challenges faced by Belarusian businesses in Poland and the Baltic states;
📌 Fragmentation within the Belarusian business community;
📌 Possible ways to address existing challenges and problems.
The parties agreed to work together toward uniting the Belarusian business community and preventing discrimination against Belarusians and businesses with Belarusian roots in Poland, including in the banking sector.
ABBA unites 125 businesses established by Belarusians in 13 countries. These businesses emphasize their Belarusian roots and identity. ABBA advocates for the interests of fair Belarusian businesses outside Belarus and collaborates with various public sector bodies.
