BSSF
The Belarusian Sports Solidarity Foundation was created by prominent sportsmen and outstanding athletes, champions and medallists of the Olympic games and other international competitions.
The Foundation aims to support athletes who were detained for participating in peaceful protests, excluded from national teams, withdrawn from competitions, dismissed or deprived of scholarships for expressing their political position.
BSSF provides:
- Financial assistance;
- Legal assistance, such as consultations and defence attorneys;
- Communication with international organizations (committees, federations, associations) with the aim of protecting athletes;
- Organising trainings abroad.
