Today, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya is taking part in the European Political Community (EPC) Summit, which is attended by more than 50 leaders of European countries.
The participants include the President of France, Emmanuel Macron; the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz; the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy; the President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda; the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu; the Prime Minister of the UK, Keir Starmer; the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni; the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk; the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas; the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen; and the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola.
The EPC is a platform for strategic dialogue and cooperation among European states. It brings together EU member states and their neighbors to jointly discuss security, the economy, democracy, and the future of the continent.
Discussions will center on support for Ukraine, European security, and strengthening the European community in the current geopolitical reality.
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s participation is an opportunity to convey to the international community that a democratic Belarus is a more reliable partner for Europe than the Lukashenka regime, as well as to draw attention to the need to continue supporting political prisoners and all those fighting for freedom.
