During her visit to Warsaw, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with the participants of an educational program for women who seek to play an active role in shaping the political future of Belarus. During the meeting, the activists shared their personal leadership experiences with Ms. Tsikhanouskaya and asked about the challenges and lessons from her political journey. The discussion also focused on ways to overcome common challenges faced by women in community engagement.
The Women’s Political Leadership Academy is organized by the Office of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya in cooperation with the Office of Belarus Democratic Forces in the Czech Republic, with support from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. The program is hosted at the Imaguru Startup HUB.
Throughout the program, participants work with experts to:
- Strengthen the political competencies of Belarusian women;
- Gain practical tools and guidance for political self-realization;
- Build a sustainable network of women’s support and solidarity.
