Belarus's main opposition leader is now urging European neighbours to do more to end the political unrest in her country. Svetlana Tikhanovskaya is pushing for tougher measures against President Alexander Lukashenko, the self-declared winner of August's election.
Meanwhile, in Belarus, thousands of people took to the streets for the funeral of 31-year-old Roman Bondarenko who died after being beaten by security forces near his home.
