  • Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya spoke at a memorial event for Raman Bondarenka and all victims of state violence in Belarus

    November 11, 2024

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya joined a solidarity rally in Vilnius, held in memory of Raman Bandarenka and all those who have been killed by the Lukashenka regime.

The Belarusian leader delivered a speech, honoring the regime’s victims and thanking all Belarusians who continue the struggle:

“I’m going out”, were Raman Bandarenka’s last words. He went out to protect our symbols. To put a stop to the dictatorship’s violence. So that we could live in a free country.

Raman was only 31. He sacrificed his young life for all of us. He became a Belarusian hero, like many others. Their sacrifices were not in vain.

As long as the dictatorship’s violence persists, we will keep going out to protest it!

Thank you all for being here today. Thanks to the Dapamoga NGO for organizing these rallies every week. As long as there are Belarusians who care, the fight goes on!”
