Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya held a meeting with the Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Elisa Spiropali. Ms. Spiropali reaffirmed that Albania does not recognize the results of the fraudulent election in Belarus and does not consider Lukashenka a legitimate president. She also expressed support for the democratic forces of Belarus.
Ms. Tsikhanouskaya thanked Albania for its solidarity and support for Belarusians fighting for freedom. The parties discussed the situation of political prisoners and ways to increase international attention to Belarus.

- Establishment of a Belarus friendship group in the Albanian Parliament to maintain ties with the democratic forces.
- Signing of a cooperation memorandum between the Parliament of Albania and the democratic forces of Belarus.
- Hosting an exhibition in the Parliament dedicated to political prisoners in Belarus, highlighting the repression and the need for their release.
- Internship opportunities in the Parliament for Belarusian activists and young professionals.
Ms. Spiropali agreed to take on the symbolic godparenthood of a political prisoner personally and encouraged other MPs to join the Libereco campaign to support their release.
