Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, on the sidelines of the European People’s Party Congress in Bucharest.
During the meeting, Mr. Mitsotakis and Ms. Tsikhanouskaya discussed the EU’s policy towards Belarus, as well as formats of cooperation between Belarus’ democratic forces and the Greek authorities. The politicians also discussed the formation of a group “For a Democratic Belarus” in the Greek Parliament. At the end of the meeting, the minister invited Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya to visit Greece in April.
