The New Belarus Conference 2024 will commence in Vilnius this Friday. Today, we will introduce you to discussions, presentation seminars, and workshops on Belarusian society and the issues it faces scheduled for the first day of the Conference.
The side events will focus on:
📎 Assistance for political prisoners in Belarus;
📎 Support for Belarusians through the offices of democratic Belarus abroad;
📎 Breaking stereotypes and improving communication with youth;
📎 Belarusian education.
Additionally, there will be a presentation seminar on the public opinion of Ukrainians and Belarusians, “Decolonization” vs “Secondary Colonization”.
The speakers will include Philipp Bikanau, Roza Turarbekava, Pavel Tserashkovich, Marharyta Vorykhava, Yevhen Magda, Maryna Sakalova, Pavel Barkouski, and others.
