A delegation of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office, including Representatives Valery Kavaleuski, Alexander Shlyk, and Anatoli Liabedzka, attended the work sessions of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The Council of Europe adopted a resolution putting a definitive end to relations with the regime and ushering cooperation with the Belarusian civil society and democratic forces, hereby taking the first important step for Belarus.
This is an unprecedented decision, which shapes an opportunity for systematic work with the Council of Europe. Some of the institutions and structures of the Council of Europe may help bring Belarus closer to Europe.
