Several medals were handed to comrades of the fallen Kastus Kalinouski Regiment warriors.
“Today, on behalf of the United Transitional Cabinet, I have the honor to present Honor and Dignity medals to those who have shown exceptional dedication in serving Belarus.
It was their selflessness that, in the most challenging time in the history of independent Belarus, saved the honor and dignity of our people.
Decisively standing on the side of good, they declared to the whole world that Belarusians are there and will always be there, and soon the day will come when they are free.
Honoring our heroes, we must remember their families.
Let us do everything possible so that the sacrifices made by our heroes were not in vain, and our future victory becomes the highest reward for them,” noted Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya in her speech.
The ceremony took place in the ballroom of the Potocki Palace at Warsaw University. It was also attended by Deputy Head of the United Transitional Cabinet Pavel Latushka and Representative for National Revival Alina Koushyk.
