Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya: “Over the past year, Belarusian doctors have become heroes for the whole nation – and for this, they have themselves fallen under the ice rink of repression. Hundreds of doctors had been dismissed, detained, or forced to flee the country. That was at a time when Belarus was running out of more than 4,000 doctors and 3,500 nurses. The actions of the regime deprive Belarusians of quality medical care and skilled professionals.
But the Belarusians have once again shown that, by uniting, they can solve even such systemic problems. Thus thanks to the initiatives of the Belarusian Medical Solidarity Foundation and Golos platform the project “eHealth” has appeared. For those who need medical consultations, the project helps to find a doctor and get a consultation online. And for those who have lost their jobs, there is an opportunity to find clients and earn a living. I am grateful to everyone who had a hand in the creation of this initiative – it is in such actions that the foundation of our new free Belarus is being built”.
How does “eHealth” work?
1. Visit https://okdoc.me.
2. Choose a doctor and time of consultation.
3. A link invitation to chat with a doctor appears after the request.
4. After the meeting, the doctor sends his conclusion and recommendations.
5. At the end of the consultation there is a link to the donation to the Belarusian Medical Solidarity Foundation.
Your site does not require your personal information, consultation can take place without a camera and in full anonymity. All authorized doctors have official diplomas.
