  • Show solidarity with Belarus on March 25!

    All around the world
    25.03.2024

Every year on March 25, Belarusians celebrate a highly significant day in the modern history of their nation. Freedom Day is more than the anniversary of the day the Belarusian Democratic Republic proclaimed its independence. It stands as a celebration of the Belarusian national identity and serves as a reminder that a country’s independence always goes hand in hand with its native culture, language, and traditions.

For decades, Freedom Day has united hundreds of thousands of Belarusians worldwide. Every March 25, Belarusians hold various events and participate in rallies and marches. 2024 will be no exception.

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya: “Wherever you go, you can find Belarusians. And they all have different stories. Some left Belarus just yesterday, while others did it years ago. Some were even born abroad but still feel Belarusian because they honor their roots. Our love for Belarus and our desire to see it become a free country brings us together, no matter where we are. Despite the thousands of kilometers that may separate us from our homeland, we find ways to unite and support each other. To show that we stand together. Perhaps that’s why our solidarity always infinitely inspires me.

There are many issues in today’s world, and perhaps Belarus is not in the spotlight right now. But it’s precisely on occasions like Freedom Day that we can loudly remind the world about Belarus. Remind everyone that our strength lies in unity, cooperation, and mutual support. Show that despite all the challenges and difficulties, we preserve and respect our traditions, culture, and history, which make us unique”.
