    For 5 minutes, speakers present their own visions of how a democratic community should develop in 2024-2025, what has changed over the long period after 2020, what role political entities and communities of Belarusians abroad can and/or should play, how to prioritize the difficulties and challenges that arise in today’s conditions, and whether Belarusians abroad can really influence the social and political situation inside Belarus.

    At a time when relations between our countries are reduced due to Russia’s war against Ukraine, in which regime Belarus became an accomplice, the dialogue between the Belarusian and Ukrainian peoples takes place mainly at the diasporic level: Belarusian volunteers fight on the side of Ukraine, Belarusian refugees implement medical humanitarian projects for Ukrainian and Belarusian soldiers, as well as victims of the Russian war, Belarusian and Ukrainian artists in exile share their experiences of fleeing repression and war and create joint artistic narratives, Belarusian-Ukrainian media projects are emerging, contrary to propaganda, and much more.

    Panel #3. Strengthening the potential of the community of Belarusians abroad

    – legalization and documents

    – resources and funding

    – culture and national revival

    – assistance to former political prisoners and their families/relatives

    Each of the 4 blocks will be dedicated to several express speeches on 4 topics, united by the general issue of strengthening the potential of the community of Belarusians (-ak) abroad on the following topics: AM (up to 3 minutes) of Belarusian men and women who have implemented or are ready to implement cases for solving problems within the framework of this issue. After the speeches, the moderator invites the audience to ask questions for clarification. Within each block there will be 1 free microphone for participants from the hall.

    The tour will conclude after 11:00 at the Olšany Cemetery, where the Presidents of the Belarusian Democratic Republic are buried. The National Leader of Belarus, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, together with the President of the Czech Senate, Miloš Vystrčil, and the Vice President of the Rada of the Belarusian Democratic Republic, Siarhei Navumchyk, will lay flowers at the graves.
