At the invitation of the Prime Minister of Portugal, the Belarusian leader spoke about Belarus at one of the most influential tech conferences in Europe.
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya addressed the role of technology in the Belarusian resistance. As examples, she cited the Voice platform and platforms for crowdfunding, as well as the Belarusian Hajun project, the New Belarus platform, and more. The Belarusian leader called on tech companies to support Belarusian independent media, bloggers, and journalists.
Ms Tsikhanouskaya also urged the participants of the event to support Ukraine, noting that its victory can lead to transformative changes in Belarus.
