During her visit to London, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya took part in an expert discussion at Chatham House, one of the United Kingdom’s leading think tanks. The meeting brought together representatives of the UK government institutions, members of the diplomatic corps, researchers, and experts in international security and foreign policy.
The discussion focused on the outcomes of negotiations between the United States and the Lukashenka regime in Belarus, the release of political prisoners, Western sanctions policy, and Belarus’s role in European security and in relations between Europe, Ukraine, and the United States.
