VISIT TO SLOVENIA
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya took part in the Bled Strategic Forum in Slovenia. On the sidelines of the event, she met with the President of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar; the Foreign Minister of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon; the EU Commissioner for Equality, Hadja Lahbib; the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Olexandr Mischenko; as well as other diplomats, officials, and experts. In addition, Ms. Tsikhanouskaya participated in a one-on-one discussion, addressing the issues of Europe’s support for Belarus and power transition in the country.
VISIT TO AUSTRIA
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya paid a working visit to Austria, where she met with the country’s Federal Minister for European and International Affairs, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, and the Federal Minister for Europe, Claudia Plakolm. She addressed representatives of OSCE member states at the meeting of the Group of Friends of Democratic Belarus, which brought together over 30 diplomats. In addition, she took part in the event “Role of Belarus in the European Security: From Involvement in the War and Hybrid Warfare to the Democratic Solutions”, dedicated to regional security.
SECOND CONGRESS ON POLITICAL PRISONERS IN BELARUS
On September 26 and 28, the Second Congress on Political Prisoners in Belarus #WithoutJustCause will take place in Poland, bringing together representatives of NGOs, initiatives, political prisoners and their families, human rights defenders, and activists to unite efforts and coordinate support for political prisoners and their families.

The event is organized by the Office of Belarus Democratic Forces in the Czech Republic in cooperation with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office, the United Transitional Cabinet, and partner organizations, including the UTC Representation for Social Policy, Viasna Human Rights Center, Dissidentby, Volnyja, A Country to Live in Foundation, and Christian Vision, with the support of the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung.
KNOWLEDGE DAY ADDRESS
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya addressed Belarusian parents and children on September 1, when the school year started in Belarus. She stressed that the dedication of teachers, the love of parents, and the children’s will to learn and dream remain beyond the regime’s reach.

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office released the monthly recap for August, summarizing key events, new research, and notable achievements of Belarusian democratic community activists and NGOs.
THE REGIME’S NEW PRESSURE TACTIC
The regime has increasingly contacted activists, offering “dialogue” and seeking personal information. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office compiled advice to help Belarusians act safely in such situations.
