I have been informed that all three are now safe in Vilnius. They are being assisted by representatives of the United States embassy, and Alena Maushuk is already being transported by representatives of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office and the United Transitional Cabinet to a secure location where she will receive all the necessary support.
I am deeply grateful to President Trump, State Secretary Rubio, and the US State Department for their joint efforts that made this possible.
I am happy that these former prisoners can finally reunite with their families and loved ones after long days behind bars. At last, they will embrace their relatives. We will continue fighting for the release of every political prisoner!”
