Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office welcomes the decision by an appeals court in Serbia to cancel Andrei Hniot’s extradition. However, we would like to emphasize that the cancellation of the extradition is not the final resolution of the case. The democratic forces, human rights defenders, and international partners will continue the struggle for Andrei’s freedom. We will closely monitor the progress of the case and assist him in presenting his position to the court. We hope for Andrei’s final release soon.
