Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with leaders of youth political organizations in her Office in Vilnius. The meeting was also attended by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Advisor on Youth Policy and Students, Marharyta Vorykhava, and Advisor for Constitutional Reform and Interparliamentary Cooperation, Anatoli Liabedzka.
“It is important that the voice of youth is heard in political and other bodies, and that its influence on decision-making is expanded. Today’s meeting is intended to be a step towards achieving this goal”, noted Ms. Tsikhanouskaya.
During the meeting, participants focused on defending student rights, including the timely payment of scholarships and raising their amounts. Additionally, they discussed opportunities for cooperation with youth organizations of European political parties and potential meetings in the Senate and Sejm of Poland, which would be crucial for addressing the integration of young Belarusians into local society. Finally, the parties discussed a meeting between Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Belarusian students in Poznań.
