During her visit to Madrid, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya took part in the opening of the photo exhibition “Faces of Freedom” by Vadzim Zamirouski, highlighting the struggle for freedom in Belarus and Ukraine. The event gathered experts, representatives of the Spanish government, and ambassadors from several countries.
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya: “Thank you, Imaguru, for showcasing these powerful works of art! They truly capture the spirit of the times. They tell the story of the Ukrainian people – fighting for their freedom on the Maidan and on the battlefield. And they tell the story of Belarusians, who, in 2020, took to the streets in peaceful protest to defend their voice and future – and continue the fight for freedom and dignity to this day”.
