Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with the Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg, Guillaume, and Prime Minister Xavier Bettel during the Davos Forum. Ms. Tsikhanouskaya urged the Luxembourg leadership to pay attention to prison conditions and new arrests in Belarus and make efforts to pressure the regime into releasing political prisoners. She also called for assistance to the repressed and their families and discussed possible EU-level joint steps. The Prime Minister of Luxembourg has been speaking boldly and actively about Belarus since the events of 2020.
