In a new video, Dzianis Kuchynski, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Diplomatic Advisor, speaks on the work of the Foreign Policy Department of the Office.
Today’s video focuses on the most unconventional impressions from the Belarus–USA Strategic Dialogue – an unprecedented political event in the recent history of Belarus.
Among other things, Mr. Kuchynski says that US Under Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland, and USAID Deputy Assistant Administrator in the Bureau for Europe and Eurasia, Mark Simakovsky, shared that they have Belarusian roots. He also mentioned a meeting with a group of Belarusian activists in the US, who arrived at the Congress at their own initiative to discuss their issues and propose solutions.
