Polish President Andrzej Duda met with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya just before the meeting with US President Joe Biden, who was arriving in Warsaw after the NATO summit in Brussels. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's delegation included also the National Anti-Crisis Management head Pavel Latushka, as well as the Coordination Council representative on political prisoners and member of Viktar Babaryka's team Tatsiana Khomich.
They deliberated the EU, US and Belarusians' vision of the common policy towards Lukashenka, and stressed that Russian troops must be withdrawn from Belarus. President Duda spoke about the results of the NATO summit. He assured the Belarusian democratic forces' representatives that the Alliance has a clear understanding that Belarusians oppose the war in Ukraine. Ms. Tsikhanouskaya noted that the Anti-War Movement in Belarus is gaining strength, and discontent is growing in the Belarusian army. Therefore, a safe corridor is needed for those in the military who do not want to share responsibility for the regime's crimes. She also urged the President to support Belarusians who had to flee to Poland.
