Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya: “Yesterday I got to attend the play “Dreams of Belarus.” It is still difficult to watch our stories while knowing many are not over yet. And nevertheless, we must record everything that happens to us so we do not repeat this horror in the future.
I was particularly impressed when I heard the poems of our poet Larysa Heniyush, because, on the same day, her monument was removed in Zelva. But the people who stole it did not realize that they will never take away our memory.
I want to say a big thank you to the Razam initiative, to everyone who worked on this wonderful play, and to everyone who continues to talk about our Belarus in every way possible: through cinema, theater, music, poetry, and just with each other.”
