“There was an official message from the Kalinouski regiment that Ivan Marchuk, the commander of the Volat battalion, whom everyone knew by the nom de guerre “Brest”, had died. Condolences to the family and siblings of the hero. One cannot overestimate the courage with which Belarusians fight for the freedom of Ukraine and Belarus, sacrificing their health and lives. They protect the honor of the Belarusian people.
 
It was also reported that Kalinouski fighters Jan Dzurbeika and Siarhei Dziahtseu are in captivity. We emphasize that they are contract soldiers, and accordingly their status now is as prisoners of war. We will strive for the release of the heroes. I hope that all the volunteers who disappeared will be able to return.”
