Today, Belarusians gathered at the borders of Lithuania and Poland with Belarus and organized pickets to demand the opening of land borders with Belarus and that the EU, through sanctions and other forms of pressure on the regime, help the 9 million people who are taken hostage by Lukashenka.
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya: “I thank everyone who has joined and will still join this action. We are many, and we are ready to seek justice in Belarus in a variety of ways. I am delighted that new ideas and projects are constantly emerging that allow us to express our protest, both inside and outside the country and even on the border itself. And, of course, I thank the authorities of Lithuania and Poland for welcoming such Belarusian initiatives. Long Live Belarus!”.
