The Belarusian leader thanked the minister for Albania’s support during the country’s presidency in the OSCE and now in the UN Security Council. It was at Albania’s request that the Security Council discussed the issue of nuclear weapons and Russian troops on the territory of Belarus.
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya also spoke about the latest initiatives of democratic forces in Belarus – a campaign for the European perspective, accountability for the regime, and Belarusian national passports. She called on Albania to support the democratic forces on the international stage.
