Last week, the Association of Belarusian Business Abroad (ABBA) held the 3rd Belarusian Business Forum in Warsaw. More than 200 delegates from at least 13 countries participated, half of them were representatives of Belarusian business. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya spoke at the opening of the forum.
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Advisor on Economic Reforms and one of the organizers of the forum, Aleś Alaсhnovič, talked about its results in a video address.
Among other achievements, Mr. Alaсhnovič mentioned that ABBA and the US Department of Commerce signed a roadmap for institutional cooperation. This is a sign of great trust in the Belarusian Business Association, which creates new opportunities for its work for the benefit of Belarusians.
Representatives of the European Commission and the Polish Development Bank announced a new financial support mechanism for Belarusian businesses forced into exile after 2020.
Aleś Alaсhnovič pledged to develop ABBA to strengthen the Belarusian business community, diaspora, and international connections, which will all contribute to a democratic future of Belarus.
