On November 29, Kyiv hosted the Way to Freedom Conference, organized by the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment Foundation in partnership with Belarus’ democratic forces. During his address, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Advisor for the Constitutional Reform and Interparliamentary Cooperation, Anatoli Liabedzka, stated:
“In fact, we already have a coalition in support of change. This coalition has 5 branches: 1) political, with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and her legitimacy at its core, 2) military, represented by Belarusian volunteer fighters in Ukraine, 3) informational, represented by free Belarusian media and bloggers, 4) solidarity and assistance, addressed by NGOs and volunteers, 5) positive alternative, with the organizations and individuals that answer the question of what Belarus can be without dictatorship.
The key priority is to improve and enhance each of the directions of work these branches are involved in. Let us think, discuss, and propose”.
