The Belarusian leader met with a group of former political prisoners at her Office in Vilnius. Some of the participants had only recently left Belarus and shared their personal stories about their imprisonment and release, the atmosphere inside the country, and people’s attitudes toward the situation.
The former political prisoners asked Ms. Tsikhanouskaya questions that Belarusians most frequently ask the democratic forces, including:
📎 The democratic forces’ action plan for the 2025 election;
📎 Support for the democratic forces’ security bloc and Belarusian volunteer fighters in Ukraine;
📎 Social support for the vulnerable groups in Belarusian society;
📎 Holding the regime’s officials, security forces, and military personnel accountable;
📎 Communication between Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office and the democratic forces with Belarusians both inside the country and in exile;
📎 Employment opportunities and educational programs abroad.
