On Tuesday, October 24, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya will take part in the workshop “Belarus and Belarusians, 2020+: assessing prospects and challenges for the country’s democratic future”, where she will deliver a keynote address on the situation in the country and the priorities of the democratic forces’ work.
The discussion is organized by the Institute of International Relations and Political Science (IIRPS), Vilnius University, in partnership with the Institute of Global Sustainable Development (IGSD), Warwick University.
The event aims to discuss and develop policy recommendations regarding the current situation in Belarus and international support for the Belarusian democratic movement in the context of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
The discussion will involve representatives of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's Office, as well as Lithuanian, Belarusian, and international stakeholders, including experts, researchers, and politicians interested in the Belarusian problem.
