For instance, I attended the presentation of the 'Courage' movie by Aliaksandr Paluyan and watched the 'Voices of Belarus' play this spring. But I am aware that most Belarusians do not have such opportunities as independent films are not shown in Belarusian cinemas, and theatrical performances have become limited. You won't find Belarusian shows abroad either. But there is a solution.
You can watch Belarusian movies on the 'Vodblisk' online movie theater. This is a new project created by the team of the 'Northern Lights' festival. 'Vodblisk' is actively developing, so let's support it together.
On 'Vodblisk', you can watch modern independent Belarusian films – both feature and documentary. New films are added to the platform every month. In addition to movies, there are also interviews with Belarusian filmmakers on the platform and its social media.
